With fall in full swing, it’s a good time to stitch up some warmth! At Starting Chain we love to show the great variety of crochet projects shared with our community by our readers. Here are a few recently uploaded to our Starting Chain Facebook page.
“This is an Aran afghan I made for my sister. It is from Aran Afghans to Crochet, Leisure Arts, 5 designs by Bonnie Barker.“ — Elizabeth Douglas
“Diamond Capelet pattern by Kate Wagstaff… ” — Renee Murszewski. Renee also wrote that the pattern did come from Ravelry and recommended that people who are interested in it go to Ravelry and search on “Kate Wagstaff Diamond Capelet”.
“This is tapestry crochet blanket i finished today. It’s 6 feet by 3 feet. Itdone in single crochet and took me 1 year to complete…. I used single crochet the whole way through. However, the technique I used to make the lines crisps involves some slight modifications of single crochet.” — Atlachinocolotl Pakilistli
Most of us know that in life, good things usually take time. A hand made work of art can last for generations and it carries stories that seem to be stitched in. Part of beauty is patience and vision. We’d like to thank everyone who has shared photos of their work with all of us at Starting Chain. Have a very good Tuesday and Chain On!
