Crochet for Babies

There have been some wonderful examples of crocheted baby blankets, dresses, bonnets, booties, etc recently shared with us all. Fortunately, for those of us who love crochet, there always seems to be an excuse to stitch up something for a new baby…and half of them can easily be in sweet pinks, lavenders, or antique neutrals. Here are some that have recently been shared with us. We hope they inspire you, too!

Thanks go to Andrea, Barbara, Denise and everyone else who has shared both their work and their love of crochet with our whole community at Starting Chain.

from Andrea Murray Goo: “I just made this old-fashioned baby bonnet for our new great niece. The pattern came from the Etsy shop Aesthetic Nest, and is called Baby Blessing Bonnet.. The shell edging was my own addition to the pattern.”

We just love Andrea’s baby bonnet. The colors she chose are perfect and the shell edging gives it more grace. It looks as if it could come out of a Jane Austen-inspired movie!
