It’s just so much fun to see the crocheted works made by others in our Starting Chain community. Here are just a few that have recently been shared with us. The captions are in their own words.

from: Suzie Berkebile: “Table topper/ tree skirt. Premiere spangle yarn.”

Suzie’s crocheted tree shirt is just elegant. Now, we’re going to have to do one! The silver tones in the yarn do make it look like frost on the new fallen snow!

from: Connie Holbrook Wilson: “Did this years ago. All figures are under 5″ tall. I may still have the pattern – I’ll share if I put my hands on it…”

We just love Connie’s nativity scene! Look at the little animals, especially that camel. Is that a little piglet at the bottom? This is so very charming and so well done. We searched online for a pattern just like Connie’s and didn’t find an exact match. However, Red Heart does have a pattern for a Nativity Set (designed by Sue Brockett & Dee Knipfer) and Leisure Arts has one named Away in a Manger (designed by Cindy Harris).

from: Shirley Strand: “Sent off a couple more gift doilies for family for holidays!”

We love well-done doilies. These, in different sizes do make wonderful gifts.

Thanks to everyone who enjoys crochet and inspiring others. Yarn Over!
