Tonight we’d like to feature some crocheted sweaters, a vest and a craft bag They all have been shared with us by the members of our Starting Chain crochet community. The captions are in their own words. With another round of cold weather headed for many places, the sweaters are very appealing!
from: Linda Marshall: “I just completed this “Cozy Cuffed Cape”. Pattern is available for purchase at anniescatalog.com. The yarn is one of those bags of “unknown fibre” yarn which I got at Walmart. The colours really cheered me up in the midst of our Canadian winter!”
from: Treefrog & Hedgehog Originals: “a vest i made- i added the flower closure on the front(theres a loop that goes around the flower). This is the Spiral Vest from Lion Brand Yarns. I ended up not doing the last few rows of the pattern, as it was big enough the way it way”
from: Katherine Florimbio: “A little sweater coat and hat, for my niece.”
from: Maurine Benbow: “I made this craft bag 2 years ago this month and still use it. It’s reversible with 8 different panels in all and a pocket on the outside as well as on the inside. It’s just perfect and I love it. No pattern, just free-style.”
Thanks to everyone who has shared their crochet projects with us all! We do inspire, and learn from, each other. Yarn Over!
