Thinking of Spring With These Colorful Creations!

from Laura Elam Driskell: “A stroller afghan and Mary Jane slippers. I saw the pattern for the Mary Janes online.” Laura also writes that she modified the pattern. We love them!

Laura’s little Mary Janes are some of the most darling we’ve seen online. The flower with a button center and the addition of leaves gives them real style. The deep purple, yellow and green are such perfect spring colors, too. There are many patterns for Mary Jane’s online including those from allfreecrochet.com, ravelry.com, craftsy.com and others.

from Lena Kozak.

We love crocheted flowers!

from: Bonnie Fox Schwartz: “Flowers and leaves motifs, combined with surface crochet to make a pillow cover.”

Bonnie’s work is exquisite! This is going to be a beautiful pillow. Notice, especially, the pansies!

from: Nancy’s Nice Knots of Crochet: “My Granny Squares and Stripes Baby Blanket. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarns White, Baby Pink, Aruba Sea and Honeydew, and an I hook. Size 35″ x 48.” Free pattern.https://www.allfreecrochetafghanpatterns.com/Baby-Blanket-Afghans/Granny-Stripes-Baby-Blanket”

We love the colors Nancy has chosen for her “Granny Stripes Baby Blanket”. We did find the pattern at allfreecrochet.com

Thanks to Bonnie, Nancy, Lena, Laura and everyone who has shared their love of crochet with our community at Starting Chain. Happy Crocheting today. Yarn Over!
